Students of La Mina Campus of Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Micampus students, who live in the same neighbourhood, have been victims of thefts and mobile phone thefts.

The police explained that the agents were working to stop criminal activities and to find and arrest those responsible for the crimes. This is usually the case of snatching and stealing cell phones.
According to the Catalan Police, this kind of complaint has increased in October. It is always the same method: They take the phone from students and give it to other friends who ride electric scooters in order to escape.
In the next few weeks, the police hope that the Local Police of Sant Adria would work with them in order to eliminate crime.
The municipal sources interviewed claim that they are knowledgeable on the subject and have confidence in police work. “We’re putting in all the effort to increase security throughout the whole residence area,” the council added. .
